Message on Gossip by John J. on November

People should not gossip. Watch the words
you say. If your words do not edify
(support or strengthen) a person, do not
say them.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out
of your mouth, but that which is good to
the use of edifying, that it may minister
grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29
If you can not find anything nice to say,
do not say it.
You may have heard that sticks and stones
may break my bones, but names will never
hurt me. This is wrong! Names hurt people.
Jesus is always present with us. You will
always have to give an account of the
words you say.
But I (Jesus) say unto you, That every
idle word that men shall speak, they shall
give account in the day of judgement
Matthew 12:36
For by the words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew
12:37
Watch your mouth!

Listening to God's voice
So then faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
You must take time to listen for God. This
means you need to pray regularly and read
the Bible daily so that you will know when
God has a message for you. This can only
be done if you believe in Jesus Christ as
your Lord and Savior. Then, when you
believe that God has a message for you,
don't harden your heart. Not listening to
God's voice may give you more problems in
your life
