Yoke of addiction
by John Wayne Jablonski
8/25/04

Many people are struggling with addictions (ie.. Alcohol, Cigarette smoking...).
Only through daily prayer can you break the yoke of addiction.
We can not be strong in our selves, we are strong though God's strength.
God made us to rely on His strength.
Take my yoke upon you for my yoke is light. Matt 11:29

Message on Gossip by John J. on November

People should not gossip. Watch the words
you say. If your words do not edify
(support or strengthen) a person, do not
say them.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out
of your mouth, but that which is good to
the use of edifying, that it may minister
grace unto the hearers.

  Ephesians 4:29

If you can not find anything nice to say,
do not say it.
You may have heard that sticks and stones
may break my bones, but names will never
hurt me. This is wrong! Names hurt people.
Jesus is always present with us. You will
always have to give an account of the
words you say.

But I (Jesus) say unto you, That every
idle word that men shall speak, they shall
give account in the day of judgement
        Matthew 12:36
For by the words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

                              Matthew
12:37

Watch your mouth!

Listening to God's voice
So then faith cometh by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
You must take time to listen for God. This
means you need to pray regularly and read
the Bible daily so that you will know when
God has a message for you. This can only
be done if you believe in Jesus Christ as
your Lord and Savior. Then, when you
believe that God has a message for you,
don't harden your heart. Not listening to
God's voice may give you more problems in
your life

Message by John Jablonski  October 18, 2004

True obedience is to accept God’s will when suffering comes in our lives.

Roman 8:`8 – For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are Not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be Revealed in us.

Let God control your mouth.

Matthew 15:11 – Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; But that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth A man.

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my Heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 34:13 – Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking Guile.

Sing to the Lord a new song from your heart each day.

Message by John on Envy 11-15-04

What is envy? It’s when you wish you had something before some one else has it.

Envy can lead to mental stress and insomnia.

Envying what our friends have can ruin a relationship.

Envying is becoming upset for not being some one else. The wants and needs of a person can lead to their downfall.

Fret not thyself because of evil doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

                                                                                        Psalm 37:1 – 2

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work

(The one who is envious becomes confused)

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.                                                                  James 3:16 – 17

If you have this problem, pray for the Holy Spirit to help you overcome this problem.

People should get rid of witchcraft books. Satan uses human curiosity to get people hooked on witchcraft.

God has more power.

The youth are targeted by Satan in using witchcraft as fun. It’s a false sense of control, making a person think they’re in control; when Satan is in control.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.      Psalms 34:14

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.                                           Leviticus 19:31

Message by John on 12/6/04 about relationships

Relationships with people that are not God honoring are doomed to fail in the long run.

Relationships have difficult times, and relationships without God have more trouble in them. The relationships may last for a season before ending, or the relationships may not be satisfying for a long time.

Immoral relationships are harder to last, especially if the people involved are Christians.

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication.   1 Thessalonians 4:3

This refers to relationships based on sexuality outside of marriage.

That every one of  you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour.              1 Thessalonians 4:4

Give honor to God in all of your relationships with others.

The Armour of God

The helment of slavation protects against attacks of the mind. Pray each and every day for protection over your mind by God's power.

The breastplate of righteousness which is an invisible shield that protects you from the darts of the enemy. Sometimes you can't be sure who your friends are. Sometimes people have ulterior motives.

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

Message from John J. on August 31, 2005

When we pray to God, we need to ask what God wants us to do for others, instead of what we want God to give us.

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Psalm 63:3
